I am intrigued by mid-century built homes, they were very modern to me as a child, so therefore I really liked the old Victorian homes as a young adult, always the rebel. The mid-century homes often have an open spacey feel, and I really like them now that I am so much older, age gives a person better insights over the years. This house plan is from Better Homes and Garden 1958, this home is in Highland Park Illinois.
One of the things I really like about this house are the windows. I love how they open and how much light they let in, love bright rooms with lots of sunlight.

| There is a folding door between the two bedrooms. This is a great idea for expanding the room size when the kids grow, and it would be an easy remodel to punch through the closet to the bathroom. |
