ladylikelady: Vintage Catalog- women’s shoes from the

1955 Aldens Catalog So cute! For $3.98? You can't even

buy flip-flops for that now!

That first dress is so sexy with that hot red streak of fabric running down the length, yum! And, the shoes are just delicious with delightful gumball colors.

Any favorites here?

    1. I really like that detailing on the bodice and pocket of the Sunny Harnett, that style of shoulder cut just happens to look good on me ; )and I would definitely wear those shoes.

  2. Hi - did you know that the McCalls 3100 of 1954 pattern is the dress that Grace Kelly wore on her first date with Prince Ranier of Monaco. There was a power blackout at the hotel where she was staying and she chose it because it was the dress that was the least crushed. She was also unable to use a hairdryer so wore her hair pinned back with a floral headpiece and looked stunning. The dress was black silk printed with large splashy colourful flowers. She modelled it for the cover of the McCalls' pattern magazine which is a collector's item if you can find it!

    1. Hi Chris, thanks for the follow and glad you enjoy my blog. Following your blog also. Looks like you are having tons of fun and lots to keep you busy while in retirement with creating up-cycled furniture, designing jewelry, knitting, painting and reading. I'm currently reading the Fire and Ice series, HBO's Game of Thrones. And, I do need to go see Les Miserables, I have seen the older movie and it was wonderful, yes, lots of kleenex are involved. I just had a new baby granddaughter also, too cute. Look forward to reading more of your posts. Also, I circled you in Google+ Victoria

  4. Walking the aisle in the church, you become the center point of every-ones attention. The day you are already dreaming of lives in your expectations. Since childhood, you have played wedding games now, you purchased the best karen millen outlet for dresses which you found and people an individual meet cannot stop discussing that beautiful dress you wore on your own special day.

  5. Extensive fit women Isabel marant sneakers are increasingly available in britain, across Europe and United states these days. In the past, if you wanted shoes or boots with extra width, you had to buy them custom made which is often undesirable due to waiting period plus the elevated costs involved.
